Some 'Outshot' gameplay updates and fixes!


This is a small project I made with microStudio for learning purposes, if you'd like to check the source code you do so here!

Changes:

  • Upgrades now move so they don't stay blocked by obstacles, now provide a challenge to hit the moving upgrades.
  • Upgrades will also shoot a projectile after disappearing
  • Fixed tutorial sprites
  • Fake animal now shows health all the time
  • Difficulty curve for enemies has been updated to start a bit easier
  • Lot of small fixes to enemies projectiles when hitting the wandering animals
  • Small update to how some enemy sprite are rendered so they are not "cut"
  • Lot of changes for 'Hit Streaks'
    • Now you can lose your streak (or still keep it) when shooting at the random animal
    • Now they transform into score! So the bigger the hit streak, the better score!
    • Fixed multiple bugs where you could lose the hit streak for no reason
