Super simple game based on 'Swordshot'.

Your bullets are your health so make sure to time your shots to avoid hitting the shields surrounding the crown.

Made for the 10-Minute game jam (didn't manage to finish in 10 minutes but decided to polish it a bit more and share the project, my time was around 18 minutes).

Crownfall is a charming retro arcade shooter that distills classic gaming into a pure, addictive experience. Players control a rotating crown at the center of the screen, tasked with shooting and destroying all the stationary targets around them. The player's main challenge is shooting a crown. Moving barriers further complicate your task, requiring precise timing to land your shots. Visually, the minimalist pixel art is clean and stylish, with a stark black background that makes the glowing sprites pop. Its strength lies in its simplicity, making it incredibly easy to pick up for a quick "one more try" session. Fans of high-score chasers and classic 8-bit games will feel right at home with its focused design. Overall, Crownfall is a well-polished and delightful indie title that proves simple mechanics can deliver a royally good time.

I love the color schemes!

I'm glad you like them! I'll be updating the game in a few days with more colors, animations and polishing in general
